Three dog groupings—large, medium and small—will compete in eight contests: Best Dressed Dog/Owner Pair, Best Dog/Owner Look-alike, Best Dog Costume, Best Obedience Routine, Best Dog Trick, Funniest Dog Costume, Best Dog Joke and Best Dog Howl.

Campy Canine Contest Rules: Campy Canine Contest is sponsored by Windstream Communications Inc. The decisions of the sponsor and contest judges are final and binding. Dog owners must be a resident of the United States and at least 18 years of age. All dogs must have current vaccinations and rabies shots to participate. All dogs must be leashed during the contest. Dog owners are responsible for providing snacks and water for their dogs. Dog owners or dogs exhibiting inappropriate or violent behavior will be asked to leave. Windstream Communications Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Windstream Communications Inc. is not liable for anything that may happen to the dog owner or dog during the Campy Canine Contest. Dog owner and dog must be present to win. No purchase necessary to enter or win the contest. By participating in this contest entrants agree to the rules.
